Gallery access allows you to select bills, receipts, CNIC documents, salary certificates, bank statements, and other documents that you choose to upload through the App.
Notifications Permission
Notifications may be used for service-request updates, account-related information, important App notifications, and messages or updates from Tax Doctors. You can disable notifications through your device settings.
Phone / Calling Functionality
The App allows you to contact Tax Doctors support by opening your device's phone dialer. The App does not record phone calls, monitor calls, or access your call history. A phone call is initiated only when you choose to use the call-support feature.
The App provides a bill and receipt scanning feature. When you choose to scan a receipt, the selected image may be processed using an optical character recognition (OCR) service to extract information such as the amount, vendor/merchant name, and date.
The OCR functionality may involve transmitting the selected receipt image to our third-party OCR service provider, OCR.space, for processing. We do not use receipt images for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Information submitted through the App may be transmitted to and stored on our backend servers and databases. Account, transaction, service-request, and document information may be stored so that we can provide the services requested by you.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Documents and information submitted for tax or professional services may contain personal or financial information. Such information is used to process the service requested by you and may be accessible to authorized Tax Doctors personnel or service providers who need access to provide that service.
We do not sell your uploaded documents or financial information to third parties for advertising purposes.
