Karachi Naseeb Biryani ("we", "us", "our") operates the Karachi Naseeb Biryani mobile application (the "App"), which lets you browse our menu, place orders for delivery or pickup, save addresses, and track your order status.

Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, information generated as you use the App, and information from your device. Here's a breakdown:

How we use your information

- To take, prepare, and fulfil your orders, including coordinating delivery or pickup.
- To calculate delivery fees, estimated delivery times, and to route your order to the nearest or selected branch.
- To send order updates, delivery notifications, and — where you've opted in — promotional offers.
- To maintain your order history, saved addresses, and favourites for a faster experience next time.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- To improve the App's performance, menu offerings, and overall service quality.
Location data
The App requests access to your device's location so it can suggest the nearest branch, calculate delivery distance and fees, and help you accurately place a pin when adding or editing a delivery address. Location access is requested at the time it's needed, and you can allow or deny it through your device's permission settings at any time.
If you deny location access, you can still use the App by entering or selecting your address manually, though some convenience features (like auto-detecting your nearest branch) may not be available.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With our branches and delivery staff — to prepare and deliver your order, we share the relevant order details, delivery address, and contact number with the branch fulfilling it and the rider assigned to it.
- With service providers — such as mapping providers (to display maps and calculate routes/distance) and hosting/infrastructure providers who store data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons — if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, staff, or the public.
- Business transfers — if we're involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
Data storage & retention
Some information (such as your cart, favourites, and session details) is stored locally on your device to make the App responsive and to work smoothly between sessions. Account, order, and address information is stored on our servers.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the service, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order records may be retained for a longer period where required for accounting, tax, or regulatory purposes, even after account deletion.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — such as encrypted connections, access controls, and secure storage practices — to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights & choices
- Access & correction — you can review and update your profile, addresses, and preferences directly within the App's Profile section.
- Notification preferences — you can manage promotional and order notifications from within the App's settings or your device's notification settings.
- Location permission — you can turn location access on or off at any time via your device settings.
- Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see next section).
